For the record, I don't think we will but Stone likes bargains, and if Ime thinks he can help, would not be surprised.......I think more than likely he will need to go somewhere else, maybe even another league.

Looking for players not friends. He fills many needs and is obtainable. He has undeniable talent Maybe when the checks stopped he got a new attitude. Sometimes second chances are wake up calls for some. Before his emotions got ithe better of him he would have fit what the Rockets are doing. His time in G League was well spent because he looked like a top prospect much better than when he came into the league.

Isn’t Jon Lucas still around in upper management?

I hate that our current GM doesn't do all of the things that our previous GM did, even though those things never got us to the finals.

It got us close to the finals as a contender, and that is the goal be in the mix.

A lot of dudes of his length and athleticism are clueless with things like positioning and being in the correct place on defense. He could harm this defense more than help it.

A lot of why this defense is good is because of disciplined switching and communication and defenders knowing where to be.

Kai is the embodiment of the opposite of that. It's why someone like CWood who theoretically you would think would be a good rim protector is a horrible defender.

There's a huge difference between the two rosters.

Morey was looking for diamonds in the rough because he had to, to find talent & value.
He didn't have high end prospects to develop.

There's really no room on this roster for more players who need minutes - that's with Tari only playing 20 games. There are no minutes with the exception of injuries.

Sure, you could cut Boban and cycle thru the options at the tail end of the roster but those players are not going to get any minutes and thus no opportunity to prove themselves.

You don't give him minutes unless he earns them, you look at him in practice.

It's ok to disagree though, I just found it funny that Morey picked him up.....

I hear what you’re saying. I don’t entirely disagree, but Morey has always had veteran heavy squads and would use these pickups as his version of draft picks.

Our team is filled with guys that need minutes. Could we have tried to sign him to a two way deal? Sure, but I think culture is so important right now to this team that they didn’t want to risk it. I mean that’s the only reason Boban is on the roster.

Well we have plenty of spots outside of Boban which are a waste.

Yep. There's no reason the bottom part of this roster shouldn't see some turnover. It's crazy that they haven't made any changes. Having said that, agree to disagree on Kai Jones. He's nuts.

Crazy guys are fun to watch and if they get proper coaching sometimes create amazing success.

Rasheed Wallace, Dennis Rodman, Ron Artest etc....

But yeah, I get your point.

He has been in the g league learning. He is more seasoned than most on our team. He went off because he wanted to be traded to a team that would use him properly. He spiraled quickly and didn’t recover after his outstanding.
