I agree. But I think that starts with replacing the worst ones.

 

I think we give Jalen until the end of the year and start shopping. An Amen Simons, Booker, or bridges combo will outperform an FVV combo with any of those guys. If Jalen performs, he and Amen is also a better backcourt. This is how I think we should start next year:

Amen
Jalen, Booker, Simons, or bridges
Brooks
Jabari
Sengun

FVV unless traded
Cam
Tari
Adams

By the way Amen seems to get to the hoop even without shooters around him. If he develops a stop and pop shot and or a better floater he won’t need a 3 pter

 

yea but i guess they want to keep his salary to possibly trade this summer or even still use him next year?

 

that's the cliche to say until they actually don't which is likely and never get the same value back

 

We may need in salary as trade filler. That’s more important than two SRPs.
