Thank god, unless we go on some improbable run without him might as well just sit him the rest of the season, even if he can come back with like a week to go.

The Rockets don't provide injury updates, don't you know that by now? Sad that Woj had to come in and do it for them.

    Bad news, he gonna be out for months to heal, his teammates and us will miss him badly;
Good news, he got time to recover and work on his 3ball, also he could already be engaged to his sweet heart when back.

    Thanks for the scoop.

The fact that the organization could remotely think that Jalen could replace Fred is…frightening incompetence from the same geniuses who thought they could build around kpj and use Sengun like he’s Udonis Haslem.

Jalen is so far away from ever becoming Fred it’s not even worth considering. Fred is one of the steadiest point guards in the entire league, his best attributes being mistake free and creating 3s. Jalen is one of the most inconsistent shooting guards in the entire league, his worst attribute being decision making and clanking 3s. They are not alike, in any way, shape, or form.

This obsession to replace Fred needs to stop, as long as Ime is here and we are trying our best to win we are not getting rid of our 1a/1b player. When/if Amen eventually takes the leap and needs to start, we already saw what that will look like when he replaced Brooks to close out one of our recent wins. Fred is not going anywhere.

The Timberwolves have one of the rising young superstars in the league in the 22 year old Edwards. The key to turning that roster into a contender was adding a 35 year old Conley and this year extending a 36 year old Conley.

    “Timeline” is BS.

We are not just going to get rid of a 30 year old Fred Vanvleet in his prime if this organization ever wants to sniff winning basketball. We want to add more guys like that, not less.

If the Rockets are internally hoping that Jalen Green can become a playmaking floor general type player, then they are confirmed 100% one of the stupidest front offices in the NBA.

Zero chance this is true lmao

He might as well have told you the Rockets will bring back KPJ. That's how silly and ridiculous this thought is. flat out laughable

Why are we trying to turn JG into what he is not? He is not a ballhandler that can make good bball decisions with the ball and make mistake free passes or be accurately shooting the 3. He can definitely become a better 3 point shooter, but the PG skills Fred has will probably never be part of his bag. Rockets, just let JG become a good shooting guard like Booker or the like, and that will be enough. He will never be a Harden/FVV type of ball handler, and that's okay.

Fvv as our 1a/1b equal we are not winning anything. Should have gotten harden but that's a topic that's been discussed too much and ime decision.

Hey, Alperen's gonna be okay... so, we need to take away the silver lining. Jalen's about to up his trade value in the wide open offense. We need to sell into that this offseason.

The Warriors are currently the worst of the play-in teams this year, at 4 games over .500. Both them and the Rockets have about the same strength of schedule for the rest of the year.

If GS wins half their games from here on out, we'd have to win 14 of 18. Even if they stumble to 6-12 in their remaining games, the Rox would still have to go 11-7 to qualify.

In other words, a .500 team would have to completely stumble, and we would have to bang it out the rest of the way.

I love the optimism, but there's no way that's going to happen, especially without our star player. The 76ers have a 10-20 record without Embiid this season.

You are right that there is technically a slim chance, but even with Sengun this team wasn't going 14-4.

If the team suddenly starts playing elite ball with Sengun off the team, then there's a lot of things to re-evaluate. Why would you even want to bring him back at that point.
