Sengun is the reason he didn't tore his ACL. When Sengun felt that bend, he quickly flex the other way from totally collapsing on the ankle. If he didn't bend that would of been catastrophic.

I hope that all the idiots who played at being doctors in the last few hours learn to wait for the results of medical exams.
Learn to keep your mouth shut if you don't have anything useful to say when the topic is someone's health.
I'm very happy for the guy!

The best news is this injury shouldn't interfere with his off season training regiment.

Thanks for being concerned brother. I felt sad for the kid.

But I'm just a fan who likes to see the kid play. Age-wise, he could easily be my son.

Fortunately, I am still a lot more concerned about my real kids :).

Even if he were able to come back in time before seasons end, absolutely no reason to do so. We've seen everything we need to see from him this season, and he knows what he needs to work on in the offseason to take the next step.

Hopefully some other guys step up with the extra touches that will be available the rest of the year and the offense doesn't crater.

With Alpi, Tari, Funaki, Amen we will grab SOOO many offensive rebounds.

All we need are a couple of deadeye shooters to kick these out to.

    Reed Sheppard, please.

I can confirm. I do lots of stretches and yoga daily and I rarely get hurt, even bad injuries take me barely any time to recover when I play flag football and volleyball and basketball weekly.

You gotta stretch daily, it’ll do wonders for you boys!

So happy for Shengoon, next year is going to be so good.

There's no reason that alperen should come back this year.

    Here's why

    1. Rockets lose a bunch without him. Which means we are out of it with nothing to play for
    2. Rockets win a lot of games to make it so they can possibly make the play in, in that case why come back as the rockets are already playing well without him. It might ruin what we have going on.

So either way the rockets are playing meaningless games or we are playing meaningful games due to us being able to win without Sengun.

Every day i stretch up out of bed and start my day.

I'm something of a believer myself.

This is what I said in my Shut down Alpi thread. Glad Alpi escaped from serious injury this time.

Plowman, understand where you were coming from…if you've experienced something, especially multiple times, a person might have a better feel than a person who has not experienced something. JMO…but I saw nothing wrong with what you posted. And, liked the final positive statement that Alpy will be fine… I too believe he will be as well. So sorry to hear of your situation.

It has taken Jock Landale until now to be a productive player after having his off season and start of season interrupted by an ankle injury. So it is important to get the ankle right so Sengun can have a productive off season leading into the next season.
