Tiki Barber is so pathetic. He just can't help himself.

Finally a good signing and replacement for Cashman. Now get a RB and another DT/DE...or CB.

Positions I still want to target:

    RB
    DE and DT
    CB and S

Then we can see what the Texans still need for the draft.

Cashman and Greenard out. Al-Shaair and Autry in. If you get similar production out of those guys for less total money, that's a win. Still need to upgrade at DT, RB and in the defensive backfield.

Texans should be looking for better production, not similar production but cheaper. They better be better, at least if they want to compete next season.

This team had a lot of holes to fill and depth to add this off season. Anyone who actually expected us to add Barkley and Wilkins (insert any other 2 big name FAs fans are whining about missing out on) wasn’t living in the reality of the situation. Even though we have/had a lot of cap space, we had to stretch that money pretty wide. Can’t spend the majority of it on 1-2 guys and then go dumpster diving to fill the rest of the holes and address depth.

Al-Shaair is significantly better in the run, while Cashman is somewhat better in coverage. Both are getting slight overpays

People seem to he convinced the Texans were going to draft BY. There is no definite proof of that. Like you said the Texans could have traded for the #1 if they really wanted Bryce. May have cost less because the Bears would only move back one spot versus 8.

As for FA, still so much time available and the draft. Not going to freak out after the first couple hours
