No more chase down block attempts if another rocket is in pursuit.

remember Jabari pushed Damonis for the injury of course without knowing for sure and gave his hand first to Damonis... just saying.

No more careless VanVleet turnovers in the final minute of a game that's already decided.

This was best case scenario considering how bad it looked. We knew his ankle was totally jacked up as it was bent at 90 degrees on landing. That he avoided any ligament tears in his knee is very lucky. He landed awkwardly and hyperextended it with full body weight at high speed. He could have needed surgery and missed a good portion of next season.

Hope the big fella has a full and speedy recovery.

I hope they give us a few more details. Torn ligaments sometimes require surgery. I’m also wondering about long term stability in that ankle.

Hope he doesn't play in the Olympics. He needs to rest up for next season.

I think it’s also worth mentioning that this is likely Alpi’s non-dominant leg. Most right-handed shooters dominant leg is their left leg.

If they thought it was going to need surgery I don't think Woj would have used the phrasing "escaped major injury"

I have to think this is because of all the time he spends on flexibility work. Should be a big part of all players' routines.

Not sure why Woj is saying this isn't a major injury. A severely sprained ankle can be super major. Hopefully he avoids surgery.

His bone bruise will be completely healed in a month. That sprain might take another month to heal. I'd be very surprised if he misses more than 2 months.

Yea, I remember him saying his ankle was f up. Hopefully he didn’t tear too many ligaments.
