Even with a healthy Alpi, they weren't making the play-in. The Warriors and Lakers aren't gonna completely collapse down the stretch.

 

We lose our leading scorer / leading rebounder / the player who's averaging the second most assists on the team. Despite winning tonight, we're also currently 4 games out of the 10th seed with roughly 18 games to go.

How does any of this make you optimistic that THIS is the turning point of the season?

I think we’ll rally energetically but I don’t think we have enough firepower without Alpi. Weirder things have happened I guess. This roster and coaching staff have a great mentality, perhaps they will take it upon themselves to not feel like victims and make Alpi proud of them.

 

Also GSW owns the tie-breaker 2-0 and only 1 game left..... in the rare case it comes down to the wire.

Lakers are getting all the ref calls down the stretch.....

 

It's impossible, it was very difficult when Alperen was there, now it's impossible, and now other players will look worse without Alperen.

Need the Warriors to start choking and for Houston to continue to win games. Im not overly confident about either.

 

Traditionally, losing your best player when you’re already 5 games out of the playoffs isn’t ideal..
