Caught up with Vinland Saga season 2 now. I'm glad I took the break because the first half was just so boring. I enjoyed the ending of season 2. I'll likely have to binge season 3 if I keep following. First half of season 2 was a chore to get through.

Dr. Stone has been a fun one to watch.

I hope season 3 of Konosuba will be good. I can't get myself to finish the Megumin spin off.

I've been recommended Mashle to watch. Anyone like that?

I'm a ninja Scroll fanboy. Is the series pretty legit or as good as the movie?

It’s very good and worth a watch. The movie is still the goat.

Man, can't possibly overstate how big DBZ was as a cross cultural phenomenon, it was particularly huge in Latin America.

Laid the groundwork for the popularity anime has now. Many like me never would have gotten into it if not for Toonami back in the day, and DBZ was why we watched.

On the gaming side, I was never a fan of the Dragon Quest series, but Crono Trigger is on my GOAT shortlist.

    RIP to an absolute legend.

RIP Akira Toriyama. DBZ and a couple others were the first anime I saw growing up.

Sad to hear, Legend who's work spans five decades.

watching this on toonami, there are few things that can describe something so amazing in an elementary school kid

that being said, Akira screwed up his own show in the later years

Its became weird/cool/hipster to hate on dbz

frieza --> cell saga is about as pinnacle as it gets for ANY show

The rage power etc is from DBZ as are transformations

I forgot about this one, thanks for posting! Is it over or ongoing?

So I read it's a sequel to Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School? Should I watch that first?

S2 of the anime ended a couple months ago, but the manga is still ongoing…those videos are extended cuts from the Blu-ray that dropped 2 days ago

Metropolitan Curse Technical School is the original one-shot manga that was about 4 chapters that they eventually turned into a movie called JJK 0 released after S1…the events happen about a year before anything in S1, but it’s not fully fleshed out because the author never thought his one-shot would blow up like it did

    I think you’d be fine watching it in release order of S1 - JJK0 - S2
