If he's hurt and trying to toughen it out, kudos to him < If he's hurt and trying to toughen it out with this team , then shame on him

Maybe I missed something but why do we think he has a back injury? Just because he has a pad on his back? Should we assume any player that has anything wrapped up is injured? Is any player that uses icy hot injured? Any player we see in an ice bath? This just sounds made up...unless I am missing something.

Alpi needs all the reps he can have on this league. No matter on which side of the debate about him being numero you are, we all need to see him defend and attack more on the pick and roll. If it can't be aggravated, he should not be resting.

The grind of this season, being the focal point of defenses, he needs it. They can start load managing him next year.

When youre wrapping yourself during time outs youre not ok. He is also playing like he's not ok as well.

He was out for back pain a couple of weeks ago and he's been wearing a wrap ever since.

Agree 100 percent. We are not making the playin and its a waste of time to try. Who cares if we make it just to lose? Why put our future at risk?

I'd be deeply hurt if anyone didn't.

On a serious note, if the Rockets want to shut down Alpi the last 10 games or so, I'm fine with it. I don't think there is any physical risk in continuing to play him or he wouldn't be on the floor.

IMO, it's good experience for Alpi to grind against defenses that are now loaded up to stop him. Maybe this will teach him to quickly attack and punish favorable matchups instead of piddling around and showing that pump fake that fools nobody.

But at some point, there is no point. That line might be ~3 weeks from now. It would also give them the chance to evaluate Landale's future.

Quite a bit of assumptions regarding the medical issues that more uses hindsight.

OP needs to tweak this thread title, every time I open up Clutchfans my mind reads it as "Shut Up Alpi Fans"

How he is being treated by the coaching and medical staff shows how he viewed by the team. Seems short sighted thus far.

Sengun has a back pad every time he steps off the court and clip I posted had him grimacing in pain.

He missed some time a while back due to back spasms and he has a drop-off in production and efficiency since these back pain started.

What I want to ask you is why you think he doesn't have a back injury? Are you saying he is just making it up? Pain doesn't come out of anywhere lol wtf. If your tooth is hurting you probably have a cavity somewhere don't you think?

I don’t think Ime is a shut down guy lol. Sengun’s game is elevated by his crazy flexibility and spin moves which are obviously being affected by his back injury though. Hope it isn’t something that becomes a long term issue.

    Lol mis diagnosing ??

you dumbass sometimes when you injure a bone or muscle you get heterotopic ossification, same thing happened to kwahi. Once again you don’t need to spotlight your idiocy and 4th grade medical education

Didn't Kawhi leave SAS cuz they were telling him to tough it out when he felt he was injured? So your model example is a franchise player leaving his team cuz he was misdiagnosed?

Clearly the idiot here is you.
