A lot of people around the world see that the Irish are white and largely do not look THAT different than the English and assume they have had a similar recent history to that of Western Europe… the Catholic Irish do not view it that way in general. They view themselves as the oppressed underdog - minority that have suffered at the boot of the Empire of England…. I have heard a number of older Irishmen claim solidarity with American black people, because of histories. Al Jazeera is absolutely Pro-Palestinian but it’s also a legitimate news agency whose coverage is on from the ground in the Middle East. A Pro Hamas source would be something that proclaims that there was no attack in Oct and Israel is poisoning the aid which are actual Hamas takes.
