    I'm aware.

The number was 2 when I was demeaned for having only 2 posts and therefore no worthwhile opinions.

Everyone is shocked or in denial about the news.......we wish him the best though......very bad news for a young player but at least he is getting the treatment which he should have gotten much earlier.

So this could not have been diagnosed and dealt with sooner? My initial reaction is that they tried to get him ready and or Tari badly wanted to help this season to push for play-in, and they finally agreed that it’s for the best to get ready for next season (since play-in is out of reach as well).

Well, that's not true at all.

I have a bit of experience with these things.

Possibly? Not exactly a common diagnosis for NBA players.

I hadn't. Found when just searching the name.

The website founded by Diekhake basically just does blog posts about random p*rn sites and whether or not they are legit.

Probably not the same dude, but that's what Google says.

She’s like the female lavar ball, so annoying. Vicariously living through her sons life because she never accomplished anything on her own.

I am just wondering if it was known earlier or only came up through a second / 3rd / 4th opinion as his mom has stated he was looking at that - likely to see if he could return or not as well. Glad at least it's dealt with and he can get ready for next season.

I am glad you aren’t my doctor. Surgery should be a last resort; and it seems Tari’s camp and the Rockets were vying for letting his body mend it back together. Every doctor will tell you there is risk in even the slightest of surgeries.

I once had extreme pain in my right shoulder, and I thought I might need shoulder surgery, but my doctor told me though it was an option. His experience said studies had shown that the body could heal my micro fracture on its own. And it did heal after about 1 1/2 years; he gave me some exercises and that helped too. Granted I am not a professional athlete and I could wait nearly 2 years. Doctor said even with surgery the recovery process would be 1/12 to 2 years

I know professional athletes are integral to a teams success, but it should be concerning if any team is going for surgery as the first option, granted there is alternative that are reasonable.

    Good going Rockets!

My biggest issue with what the Rockets did is that they kept putting him out there and having him play through the pain, re-aggravate the injury, and try to rehab again. That's why I was talking about them f***ing around for half the season. I am not a doctor, you are correct, but it seems pretty obvious that the team mishandled this based on the pattern of events. Whether that means he could have rehabbed without surgery given more time off, or whether they misdiagnosed its necessity from the beginning, I don't know.
