Just a question I can't find. If a player, say the 4th QB in the draft who was expected to go in the top 10, is available at 23, COULD you draft him and then trade him to a QB needy team immediately or is there a time which has to pass before trading him? I get the various sports confused at times with variation of their rules. I wondered because a game had Jayden Daniels at 23 and he would have a huge excess value if he could be traded to a QB needy team if they are expecting him to drop into their lap.
First shot at opening day 53 man roster. It will be tweaked without a doubt. Which Johnson? (TWSS) Okudah.... man, I thought that guy was a can't-miss prospect at CB with his pedigree & measureables. Would love him on a cheap contract. Howard - would be good if cheap as well. I ain't against acquiring Sneed via S&T - I was just curious what you would be willing to give. Since he was tagged, I'm sure the Chiefs want 2nd or higher - since they could just let him go in FA & get a 3rd round compensatory pick (although they could lose out in the formula by signing other players).
It looks like he will either get an extension at around $20M a year or get the franchise tag. https://www.nbcsportschicago.com/nf...ohnson-inching-closer-to-an-extension/543643/
They scored 3 points in a playoff game, so the any old dude doesn't work for me. I'm glad they interviewed Thomas today. I think he's as good as any WR in this draft not named Harrison. A real talent who I would like to see what Stroud would look like throwing 100 passes to next year. I bet he would have 7-10 TD's. But if they go defense in the draft then get a playmaker like Samuels. Are there plenty of guys like Thomas that have caught 17 TD's in college when having Nabers on his team?. I would add Samuels because he would be the Deebo of Slowik's offense.
You lost me. Who scored 3 pts in a playoff game that you're talking about? What old dude are you talking about? I honestly don't care who DeMeco adds. He's gonna do what he wants anyway. As everyone seems to think, our offensive line will be better next year so even Singletary would probably get more yards per carry. I think his numbers would have been a lot better if Pierce hadn't started so many games. That, and the fact that our offensive line was a train wreck of injuries. I still question Howard being worth his contract, but hopefully he can play this year without injury. I read Tunsil had surgery on his knee. I really question the durability of these guys, so don't even mind snagging another lineman. Honestly, I don't care if we draft a WR first if it's the best fit when we come up. I just want the best player we can get, and would prefer a safety/CB, but if it's a WR I'm fine with that. Who knows what DeMeco will do. He might just pick a defensive guy. It could be anyone really. I'm just hoping we don't pick anyone who has already had injury issues. We've dealt with enough of that to last a couple years. I just don't want to lose our top sacker Greenard. I'd rather replace someone else.
If this is your RB room, is it good enough? Devin Singletary Jaylen Wright Dameon Pierce Andrew Beck Troy Hairston Or would you replace one with Saquan Barkley or Derrick Henry? If so, which one.
I think this is a reference to the Division round game against Baltimore where the offense only scored 3 points.
Especially since he won't have to pay that high NY State Tax. He can sign here for $7M and live like a KING!
I don't know who would best best. It's hard to judge considering how bad our offensive line was last year with so many injuries. I'm sure that didn't help our running game.
