For a guy who is supposed to be an intelligent player, Sengun has a lot of stupid in him. And his footwork has been more or less gone the last 10 games. It’s like he’s trying to become a different player, and not a particularly a good one. I don’t know if he’s trying to draw fouls or thinks he can power over guys but it’s not working. Needs to go back to the spins and dips which make him effective. A lot seems to have coincided with that stupid haircut. And the constant “who me?” crap is getting annoying. His maturity and court sense have taken several steps back of late.

Things just seem to move better when Amen is on the floor.

Maybe I'm just thinking about this because it seems to be his best opportunity to get into the lineup right now, but maybe he is actually a shooting guard? At least for the next year or two?

I know, I know, "shooting guard who can't shoot" and all that. But we've seen it before with guys like D-Wade and Jimmy Buckets. His ballhandling is not quite up to spec for a point guard yet (though it may get there), but I think it's good enough to be the secondary ballhandler. And his rim finishing ability is special.

 

That fast break of his was so dumb
He just had to go at the defender and draw the foul in a 3 on 1 instead of dumping it behind for an easy bucket
