I love Cam Whitmore, but I'm starting to think that Amen Thompson will be our superstar. Amen is showing so much more aggressiveness compared to earlier this year. Total package if he can develop a minimally decent shot.
Yeah, with all due respect, there is doubt. While they are exciting players with great futures. There is absolutely no real way to know how things go. It could happen as you say but, let me know when it does. I'll be very happy but, I'm not betting the farm on it. We have a lot of exciting team talent but we have two first year players who have shown well but a looong way from being stars on a championship team..certainly at this early time. I'm excited about both but, they could join the bum of the month club quickly on CF if they have some subpar games. I'm just not seeing the great love for Ausar other than he's Amen's brother. He's averaging 8.7 ppg and 15.1 % on 3's...that's 15.1%(season average). He IS averaging 6.5 rebounds per game on the season.
Please relax a little, guys pushing these agendas on these young players only to turn on them whenever they have a bad stretch. Lets just enjoy their progress and see where it lands. Not everyone needs to be a superstar and a franchise player etc
I guess Roosh missed the last two minutes of the game when Sengun was anything but soft (prior to that he did have a few possessions which were terrible, granted) How funny is it that Stone refused to trade Tate for a couple of second rounders - when the whole trade deadline was proof that second rounders can be valuable. And now the trade deadline is over Tate is firmly out of the rotation. Good one Stone. You truly have my confidence.
There was a lot to be frustrated with BUT there was a lot more to be inspired by. Gotta keep playing as a team and it will come together over the next one year.
We were lucky, Suns played terrible. Amen is amazing, he was the best Rocket by far, even if Fred and Jabari also had great games. Our offense still feels clunky and directionless. Ime should take action. It's not over with pushing Tate out of the rotation. Anyway... ROCKETS WIN!
