Why do some people not care for Roosh or think this is a lie?

 

Good question.

I barely paid any attention to Roosh since I'm not on twitter much, but after seeing so many people who I think are morons say how much they hate him, it makes me want to start following him more.

 

I think homers hate educated unbiased Rockets assessments.

There is no way a 21 year old pre madonna who fails to show accountability would ever be an immature kid and say something uncalled for on social media DMs (sarcasm) lol

For comparison, this is a minimum salary player taking the same wide open shots:



If he were to make the same percentage as Holiday, the minimum salary guy, that's almost 90 more points for the Rockets, and surely a few more wins.

Note the offensive rating/defensive rating and win shares.

At the same time, 18 year old Sengun won MVP in the third strongest professional basketball league in the world, full of ex NBA pros.

But Jalen was the core.

 

It doesn't take a statistical deep dive to realize the problem.

Pace starts with stopping teams on defense.

You can't get out and run when you are taking the ball out of the hoop. You have to make stops to run.

But .... the problem isn't pace, its missing open / wide open shots.
No one is crowding the guy shooting .274 from three on uncontested shots.

They don't crowd him, there is no need to do so, teams invite him to take those shots .... and he does.

I've been complaining about his shooting for the last two plus years .... about time someone joined the party.

 

No excuses, he just isn’t that good, the Rockets are better with him not playing at all.

That's the same dude that told us how great Jalen was for the last two and a half years .... youngest to do this that and the other, he's only 21, all these cherry picked stats .... Brutal is right. He has few defenders remaining.

 

That is because they ran with KPJ and Green, so they got good offensive numbers but played losing basketball.

And someone who has a habit of getting stripped, or loses the ball. Jalen is detrimental to the growth of Amen.

 

Bradeux and Will are likely flip floppers.

 

His tracks are actually a lot better than his takes...

 

Shooting that poorly and inefficiently was unacceptable for a literal league MVP in Westbrook, let alone someone with far fewer strengths like Jalen. How many teams and coaches thought they could utilize Westbrook properly on a contender only to realize the futility? At some point it's clear that the player's game is the limiting factor and not the offensive scheme.

Jalen has the 8th worst TS% in the league for players that have taken 500+ FGA. He ranks 14th on the team. He's never hit league average efficiency in his career. Blaming Udoka for not utilizing him properly is like blaming all of Andrew Wiggins' coaches for not utilizing him to his full potential. He never had that potential. People only thought he did because of his draft position.

 

Roosh is no saint, I am not a fan of influencers, I use them for information but that is all.

In this case I tend to believe him and I think he was tempted to shet back on Jalen as well.

I tend to follow Frank from Chop Shop.

 

Jackson Gatlin said he saw the DMs. He said it's true. And while I can believe that a twitter personality like Roosh has motive to lie to generate followers etc., I don't see what reason Jackson Gatlin has to confirm them. He is an actual accredited media member with access to the Rockets org. If he lied about something like that it could hurt his creditability and career. He also mentioned having had his own personal experience with Jalen coming at him.
