When I think of cults and the people willing to follow their leaders blindly regardless of the evidence, I think of Scarface. Thankfully, just like former cult members who survived the brainwash and mass suicide attempt he no longer believes in BOB... I think...

It's a great spot for him. In the Northeast (so his ******* tendencies are expected and tolerated), minimal expectations, if he gets them to 8 or 9 wins for a couple of years they'll name buildings after him.

How he deals with, as the HMIC, the new landscape of college football remains to be seen.

I was always confused how BOB keeps getting jobs and then I made the mistake of visiting r/nfl and r/cfb and there are thread after thread where idiots defend him as "a winner" who brought the Texans division titles and playoff success.

I now fully understand why this no talent ass clown keeps getting work.

P.S. Anybody who tries to gaslight people into thinking BOB is a good coach needs to be castrated and sent to the football gulag

No joke, I have already sent that tweet to every single person on my mom’s side of the family. Buckeyes dodged a huge bullet!

We'll see about that. Chip Kelly is a very strange bird. IMO, he also qualifies as a bullet.

Aside from his last year with New England, he was never a bad coach (awful GM). I think college HC is perfect for him and wouldn’t be surprised if he had success.

True, but I can at least root for Chip to succeed, even if I’m not convinced he will.

I don’t even want to hear BOBs name, much less have to see him personally ruin yet another team of mine every weekend. I can’t root for him, and I can’t watch him fail.. would have just put a damper on my weekends no matter what the outcome.

Because despite what many think on here he was a good HC.

A good GM? Not so much.

Good hc? I guess for college he is somewhat...probably average at best.

Not even good enough to be a retread NFL coach.

He was a decent head coach for the Texans despite some particularly brutal decision-making.

Then his relationships with players began to sour.

Then Cal made him GM, a catastrophically bad decision that caused the franchise to crash and burn.

For the record, while he was here, I supported BOB longer than most but when he went bad, he REALLY went bad.

There is no longer a place for tyrants in football. Try politics.
