or maybe Sulivan is working with Jalen and he is thinking too much about his mechanics instead of just shooting.

The play was drawn up for Sengun but the knicks denied it, but i wouldnt expect you to know that.

Jalen then just tried to scramble and make something happen and we got lucky. Pretty sure Jalen was fouled but worked out none the less.

Brunson did foul Holiday. But there's an unwritten rule that refs don't bail you out on a chuck at the buzzer. But it's unwritten. But since the refs already follow this rule most of the time, they should formalize it somehow rather than enforce it unevenly. But I'll take the W.

 

Amens shot was okay for first few games after he came back from injury but now his form is unserviceable and Jalen shooting form is so broken that surprise everyone if he makes a long shot at this point. At least Amen has good fundamental of footing but Jalen has that And1 bug which makes them go for weird off the balance release to make it looks like Kobe fade away even he has a room to just shoot normally. At this point hopefully all our guys gets to work on shooting offseason or we gonna be part 1 of phase 2 for a very long time

Funny thing is all Amen's buckets tonight came on passes to him right at the rim iirc.
I was paying CLOSE attention to him as that's really my main enjoyment with Cam out, watching him progress.
The only shots he took farther than 1 foot out were the 2 free throws he bricked! lol

He needs to have his shot totally rebuilt in the off season as he shoots it from distance with one of the flattest shots I've ever seen!
Even moreso than Jabari's.
He'll keep reverting back to bad mechanics until it becomes muscle memory and that's gonna take an offseason.

But I'm hopeful he's gonna turn into a stud!

Many players do and then develop one over time. Jason Kidd wasn't a great shooter early in his career but he worked on it and was a respectable three-point shooter by the end of it.

Basically. It's a stress fracture IIRC. He probably keeps re-aggravating it trying to ramp up too soon. Team doctors need to make him sit his ass down and stay there until it's 100% healed.

 

Only "Mete Gazoz" type of person can help him at the moment. Mete might give him some advise in shooting.
Otherwise he might grab more rebounds than Gobert/Sabonis next year to clinch most rpg title.
