We are putting the minutes where we should, you dont have to mess things up on the court just to repair mistakes from the past. What its done its done. Play the young guys, find out what we have and deal the fat out in the offseason.

The other aspect of this Its not like Stone is a top negotiator and his team has been very bad extracting value out of the trades.

 

Another season of Silas level tanking would have been disastrous for the development of our players. Stop it.

We may have this conversation again when Tari comes back. I'm expecting Tate to be the big loser of playing time with Whitmore rise. Also, with Udoka's coaching style you are going to need someone to be an alternate for the kids, next year may be another journeyman hopefully with better 3pt shooting

 

No, you have to stop losing. You have to stop being ok with losing and finding moral victories. That’s why we hired Udoka. The last 3 years were embarrassingly bad. You have to stop that and pretending there’s gold at the end of that rainbow.

I don’t disagree with that at all. Just tired of a culture rooting for losses. I would have been all for making a move today. We have a ton of picks that can’t play on a team with so many young guys in the core.

 

Facts, but even then, if that pick was to fall in the top 4 we keep the pick. OKC only gets our pick if it’s out of the top 4, plus we own the Nets picks fit the next few seasons which will likely be much better than the picks that OKC are receiving from us

Take into consideration Udoka's style, you are going to rotate when mistakes are made.

 

Cam is interchangeable with all of Tate's minutes. I mean we do see Tate as a small ball 5 which is just horrendous. But that speaks to more how horrible Landale is. Even Amen is capable of taking a chunk of Tate minutes especially when Tate can't shoot either.

 

We are 1.5 game above a 20% chance at a top 4 pick, not exactly nowhere close.
