We barely give enough minutes to Eason or Whitmore and that's without both of them healthy and on the roster. When Eason comes back I would not want any of those minutes to go.to kmj.
I’d give him Tate’s minutes. He’s a guy you find time for. You all have been Rockets fans for a long time and know that when Eason gets back we’ll have someone else out for weeks/indefinitely (i.e., Jabrari will sprain his ankle or twist his toothpick knees, etc.). KPJ is a rare talent who would be electric playing with Cam at the same time on the court. Last night he scored 15 (which is what he averaged for us as a starter) so there’s still something in the tank that would be worth a second round pick. We also could divy some of the way too many minutes we’re giving Jeff Green/Jabrari Smith.
And they're looking to trade Tate for picks, because there will be no minutes for Tate with Eason coming back and Cam looking like he should play all 48 minutes. Also, I wouldn't play KMJ over Tate. Tate is a more well rounded, higher IQ basketball player.
Like him, but he is undersized, does not shoot the 3 and does not offer the kind of rim protection we are looking for. He brings to the table nothing of he things we are looking for.
Sengun made him look good, but he's nothing. Not good IQ, not good wing defender, not good post defender, not good rebounder, not good shooter, not good passer, not good handler... He's athletic and a good cutter, but not a good player, that's why he does not play on good teams. Moreover, like with Harden, I don't want back people who once asked to leave.
