The next weakest link. Of course there is a big gap between the current weakest link and the next so any mass complaining about specific players will die down somewhat down for a while. That is unless a specific pattern emerges quickly.

I feel bad that Jalen’s uptick has coincided with some inconsistent play from the team overall. I mean that — he’s actually played really well and in the flow of games, it just hasn’t happened when the team played well. Tonight was a loss on team defense — and while Jalen can probably take some responsibility there, it was hardly just him. Other than a few flash plays from Amen, it was just a horrific night defensively (and the Pacers made us pay).

 

Tonight was a very good example of why they should not trade Jalen before the deadline. May as well let the last 32 games play out.

What I want to see is if he can learn to play smarter on a consistent basis. Despite shooting well, he did some really dumb stuff in the 1st half. Unfortunately, I missed a lot of the 2nd half.

 

Why cuz he scores against all the teams with the worst defense in the league and then basically get shut out against the good defenses? Why we letting his good games which all happen to come against the worst defenses influence how we feel about him. Twolves game shows me why I want to trade him. Thats the best defense in the league and he looked completely lost on both sides of the ball and was completely overmatched
