Randy Meuller (former Chargers GM) has

    Williams
    Daniels
    Maye
    Penix
    McCarthy

based on how he thinks their careers shake out vs draft order.

I'm actually not high on Penix either. I think he's going to be a complete bust or career backup.

Daniels is the guy that flashed at the right time.
    Caleb is a headcase.
Maye has just as much physical ability as those two and is a coaches dream, athletic family.
It does depend on where they go, none of them will do well in Chicago.

Mills has a 3rd round rookie Contract with starting experience. He's cheap and doesn't raise a fuss about the demotion. Keenum is the experienced vet and a local Hero. He held his own in two games with a match-up advantage splitting 1-1.

Both have expiring Contracts. Now my outside the box idea is that when Slowick takes a HC position after 2024, Jarrod Johnson steps into the OC role and Keenum could step into the QB Coach role. It would not surprise me if we draft a QB on day 3 to compete with Boyle for 2025. But an experienced QB could become available because the $ for QB1s and the need for quality QB2s on reasonable contracts are coming together. Cutting the $45M+ contracts just makes financial sense and those QBs at a lower price makes sense.

If he falls to the 10 range, we could probably arrange a trade.

    1-10 1300 points

    1-23 750 "
    2-59 320 "
    3-86 165"
    4-124 48"
    4-128 44"

    1327 points

I don't think we'll trade future draft picks as we approach the C J post Rookie Contract.

Draft capitol wasn't wasted to move up last yr.

If Caserio sees a player sitting there say at 1-10 that can make an impact like WA did then I hope he trades future picks to move up and get his guy. I see 2 guys I would move for would be Latu and Bowers.

Latu needs to prove he won't have any further issues with his neck. I think he could be the one that fall the most in the first round.

He is competent enough. I've seen Hopkins in his first year with Murray and did great. MHjr will make Murray look good.

Ahh yes, another troll that picks and chooses when to post.
I’ve said I was wrong on CJ, I’m good with it. It’s ok to be wrong every once in a while, at least I’m man enough to own up to it.
Can’t say that for you and the other sissy boys

Yeah it's fine to be wrong, but being a pompous know-it-all about it, and then being wrong, is a different thing altogether and deserves to be mocked.

Take the rookie year hindsight away, Bryce was considered a generational talent who’s only weakness was his size. He was considered a better prospect coming in, and I would’ve taken him over Caleb before this year. I’m not high on any of the QBs coming out, so that plays into it

He's been healthy the last 2 yrs., how would he prove what you want him to prove? Greater the risk, greater the reward. I would trade a 2025 1st and 1-23 to move up to get him. A DL of WA/Wilkins/Collins/Latu is a top 3 DL in the NFL. Draft RB Irving or Allen in Rd 2 and pick Renardo Green CB Fla St. in rd.3.

Trade down in rd 4 and pick up a 5th and a 6th. Then use the other 4th/ and the 5th plus a 7th to trade back into the 3rd and pick one of the WR's that fall Legette or Pearsall, or Johnny Wilson are my favorites and lets roll.

Plus you would have around 35/40 mil worth of cap space left to spend in FA after signing Wilkinsin FA. figure out a way to solve the RT issue in FA or a trade like Caserio did last year.

    Lets roll.
