The words 'Ime doesn't want James' never came out of my mouth. It was, 'Let's look at the best fit.' If we want Jalen and the young guys to take the next steps, we need them to have the ball. As for me saying I don't want James, that was never the case. It was about fit."

Jabari hardly ever gets the ball

Jalen has the ball way too much if anything, and he has no idea how to read a defender or the defense…he’s a scorer who’s clueless on offense

Sengun averaging 24 and 10 and would be headed to the ASG this year if he was playing with Harden

Rockets would have a similar record to the Kings right now

James Harden is a locker room cancer. We don’t need a 34 year old career choker to come in and say “I am the system” with young developing players around him.

FVV, Brooks, and Jeff Green helped Udoka establish his hard-nosed culture. We will be champions for this within a few years.

Funny, Maxey didn't seem so. His current team doesn't seem so and actually appreciates his presence. Majority of his past teammates seem to appreciate him. PJ Tucker definitely appreciates Harden. The only players that have had issues with Harden are players who have been notorious throughout their careers of not getting along with others.

We want Cam Whitmore to develop into a superstar, not Harden’s new PJ Tucker for a couple years.

What a silly take. Did Maxey develop into a PJ Tucker? No, he didn't.

Haha, Harden will pout his way out after 1 or 2 years, that is a given now, so no worries getting rid of him.

but look at his true shooting stats

maxey is at 57% true shooting this year. That’s the lowest mark since his rookie yr

I wonder what Coach Ime was thinking when he chose Dillian VanYeet over superstar James Harden?

Would Harden have declined his option & accepted a 2 year deal with a team option? If not this is kind of moot IMO

Part of the reason we wanted Fred was clearly to preserve flexibility to acquire a younger star.

Actually, and not arguing with your logic, but... no, we were never going to get Harden this last off-season. This was not a FVV or Harden decision by the Rox front office. Jimmy went where he wanted to go, which was home to SoCal. That's one of several reasons I find this zombie thread so fantastic.

It's like arguing about what if we had invited Taylor Swift to visit Davis Mills 18 months ago and pointed out that they both have long necks so, yeah, necessarily they would have started dating and the Texans would be getting all the attention and would be in the Super Bowel.

In normal time, I would be rooting for the Chiefs to beat the 49ers. But this time, I really hope that KC lose just so the Swift thing wouldn't be on the front page of every single outlet.

it’s been reported that the Rockets preferred FVV over Harden even if Harden wanted to come here due to “fit”…if Harden was never ever gonna come here, and Rockets went with the “well I never wanted u anyways” angle, then I guess

and we still got people acting like Harden would have been terrible here and ruined all the young guys which sounds like 1 of the greatest comedy specials of the past decade to me

For sports it would be good if the Underdog wins one of those few times.......

Taylor can go her swift way.

He's been generally loved by all his teammates everywhere he's been.
