    And, if Amen plays like many of us think he will, FVV might be gone in the offseason in a big deal for a star, rather than at the deadline.

    I will say, we really, really really need to add a shooter though, unless we're just going to tank for a top 4 pick. If our floor spacing was bad with FVV, it's going to be even worse without him.

    It would really piss me off. I am all about having a few veterans sprinkled in. But to me Vanvleet+Brooks+Uncle Jeff in rotation is fine. I really want to see us jettison Tate and Holiday.

    while I tend to agree I think that even if they back off of amen a little bit, he is going to be able to still put some pressure on the rim and maybe collapse the defense a little bit better than Freddy did. We need Eason (a decent catch and shoot option) back.
    I probably also would give up Tate and our 2027 pick if Buddy Hield would sign a three or four year extension at a reasonable number.

    I for one am stunned that playing him a **** ton and relying on him heavily so much led to him getting hurt. No one could have foreseen this.

    I don't think Amen is ready to start. We need a trade to stop the bleeding.

    All the people that complained about Fred will get a chance to see how we are without it. HINT: we might be really bad (without a trade).

    They might struggle without Fred, but I'm looking forward to more minutes for Amen. Long term this could be a blessing in disguise.

    As much as Tari's injury sucks, Cam likely struggles to crack the rotation if he hadn't gotten hurt.

    He might be ready to start, but I am worried about the spacing with only Jabari and Dillon as decent shooters next to him, especially since neither appears to be 100% right now. Guess we'll have to see what goes down at the trade deadline.
