Agree 100% and last time I checked a .369 OBA is pretty solid for a 2 hole. Besides Yordon being a huge threat to start the game of with a 3 run bomb is the world I love in, following very closely is Bregman hitting a grand slam.

Bellinger? Snell? WHERE ARE THEY CRANE?! I grow bored since the Hader signing. Entertain me peasants (Astros FO).

0 chance for Snell. 1 percent for Bellinger.

The pieces are all there for the Astros.

The pen is the best in baseball by a mile at the top. There are a number of high level arms to compete for the other spots. If they all fail, the Astros have 2 more high leverage arms coming back at midseason.

The rotation is good - with the possibility of great if Javier and Brown pitch up to their potential. Garcia and McCullers are coming back and one of them likely can go into the pen if needed or even tandem start. I wasn’t impressed when I saw France in person, but the reality is that until he went beyond his innings limits- he was good. Even after his innings limit, he was okay for a #4-5 starter on a team with a really good offense. I’m not betting against France. I had someone on the pitching side say he was the smartest guy in the rotation last year and works his butt off.

Offensively they will be good - the only question is how good. Will Abreu bounce back? Pena is a gamer, let’s see how he handles his personal business and how his game adapts.
I’m not crazy about Meyers in center but he isn’t terrible. I have some concerns over Diaz, but the bat talent will win out if he has a slow start.

Really - outside of adding another nasty bat like a Soler or Belt or someone like Duvall - the Astros on offense have all the pieces.

The only area I could see being an issue is that right side of the infield defensively. However even then, Altuve and Abreu make the plays in front of them, they just have limited range.

Ideally the Astros go into game 7 in Los Angeles leading 2-0 with Abreu coming in and Pressly and Hader getting ready in the pen.

    1% > 0% buddy

In all honesty, I don't want Bellinger. He isn't someone I want to have to root for every day (although I would if he was here)

Snell would be a different matter, but I know that ain't happening (would honestly rather have Montgomery anyway)

As is, our Vegas wins total of 92.5 is way too light.

My concern is rotation. Too many ifs.

Kepler is a good player but as a rental who’s making $10M I wouldn’t want Houston to give up much for him. He would fit nicely in Houston’s lineup.

I would prefer one more bat, I think it would take them from contenders to favorites, but I don't think it's in the cards.

Being up 2-0 late in a game 7 of the World Series feels familiar.

Which teams do you think have fewer question marks in their rotations?

Interested to see how many you think are in better shape, cause I see very very few, if any

    Fun fact

The Astros are currently the favorites to win the American League

Man we got like 9 guys in the org that can be competent mlb starters. Yeah we have some ifs attached to some guys, but we have lots of contingency plans.
