Playoff shooting is a whole new story.......I think worry about regular season shooting first.

They have to ask Mrs. and Mr. Thompson if they would like to adopt a 6'11 baby giraffe.

Amen is an 80s baller. You do not need to define him as a guard or a forward. He is both and that’s a rare commodity in today’s specialized nba. The amount of lineup flexibility he brings will be among his greatest skill sets in the future.

Amen, despite having zero 3pt game, is more efficient than Jalen Green in any of his three years.

...I mean generally the 3pt shot IS the least efficient shot on the court - that's why it's worth more. Of course Amen is going to make a higher percentage of shots if he only takes shots within a few feet from the rim.

He is a veteran so he is probably providing you experience when the game is close.....but you are right that I would not go into a 3rd season with that kind of contract.

2 years would be enough for me.

Amen: You want to sag off me? Fine, I'll cut and get an easy dunk.

this is why early in the draft process i said these two could be phenomenal next to each other.. which some posters responded to me by saying " no he's a PG dumbass"

Amen can live off 8 points a night by cuts and existing in an Aaron Gordon type role. Add in his ball handling skills in transition and you have a really exciting and unique player that can do a lot of things while existing next to all sorts of different players.

Feels like Amen is going to be a walking triple-double, all-team defender. I think you can justify this year, the culture reset and Amen being a rookie and all but man... this upcoming offseason is going to be the red wedding. If you put the job up for grabs would Fred really win out?

Watching Amen’s off ball growth has been fascinating. He obviously didn’t do it all that much growing up, other than when he let his twin play lead guard. Early in the season, he was just standing in the corner - which as a non-shooter made him useless.

Even as he transitions into more lead guard minutes over the next couple of years, his ability to play off the ball with Sengun will make him a lot more valuable.

Huge credit to Udoka and staff on development — I don’t think I’ve seen a team with this many young players unlock something new in their game.
