[WOJ] Rockets getting Steven Adams in trade

Steven Adams is the first ever first-round pick and lottery pick to come out of New Zealand throughout NBA Draft history. He was drafted in 2013. Adams is one of 18 siblings, six of whom played basketball for New Zealand.

 

Sad that Adams won't be able to help this season, happy that I don't have to see KPJ's ugly mug on the home page any longer

That reason alone made this trade worth it IMO

 

I’ve been a fan of this big Kiwi for years. So damn happy that he is ours now. If he can recover from that serious knee injury, we will be a contender finally. Don’t forget by other players’ opinions, Adam is physically the strongest guy in the league.

 

While I'm iffy regarding his injury, if he gives us at least 16-17 Nene-level production, the trade will be worth it.

Steven's sister, Valerie, has won multiple Olympic medals in the shot put.

 

Spots in the G League for those type of players, but it's not a big issue.

I would love to get Kessler...not only because he went to Auburn , but, I have thought he would be a great fit for us. Caveat ....FT shooting is not good.I believe that Jalen is starting to shape up.
