We need a backup C, Adams is an asset and only cost 3 SRPs. That's more than enough reason to do this trade. He won't be available for the remaining half of the season but then again if he was he wouldn't cost just 3 SRPs.

Ok but it is not not lifting weights. If he had that muscle mass without lifting, he would have boobs by now.

Need to be a mentally challenged to take this as is, PG is clearly being hyperbolic. Bodyweight is also weight btw, you can jack up without lifting extra weight.

No offense to you guys ofc, thanks for sharing.

There are 3 white centers in the league and we have 4 of them.

    Not counting Jokic.

The Knee issue is a tricky matter though, if you put too much pressure and weights on it.....hard to imagine.

I think Adams is actually Tongan, Pacific Islander or he does not look really white as pale faced.

Alpe definitely has some minor Asian genes.

Celtics have Kornet and Porzingis but he probably just Euro.
    Then Chet Holmgren
    Walker Kessler

    Valanciunas
    Vucevic
    Nurkic

Yep, Adams is of Tongan heritage but was born and grew up in New Zealand. His middle name is Funaki. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

I actually think 3 SRP was a little heavy. I had just looked at this mock draft today:
With a projected #8 pick-6'3" 175 PG Rob Dillingham from Kentucky (one & done)
#38 pick (from Nets)- 6'10" C from Clemson (SR.)
#40 pick (GSW protected 56-60, or Cleve gets protected 31-55)- Antonio Reeves-6'6" 195 SG-Kentucky (SR)
#57 pick (OKC via ATL)- Matthew Murrell - 6'4" 200 SG Ole Miss (SR)

Are the Rockets operating as an above the tax team this season?

    Edit: i checked here: https://boardroom.tv/nba-luxury-tax-2023-24-second-apron/

And it does not appear we are one of the teams operating above the tax apron.

So my question is, why are we able to trade an expiring contract this year operating below the tax, but we wouldnt be able to trade an expiring contract next year?

Walker Kessler and/or Malcolm Brogdon would be helpful additions.

OK I was all about cutting KPJ but him and 5 seconds for even an injured Steven Adams is a deal. When healthy he'll be HUGE for us in practice and come game time.
