She hasn't been "found". They haven't even confirmed that's even a plane much less her plane. They still have a lot of investigation to do.
Will be more impressed when they find these two... 1.) Jimmy Hoffa?? 1.) DB Cooper??? On a tangent: Spoiler: He was pissed when I found him... ....... ....... .......
DB Cooper was Richard McCoy. He hijacked another plane the next year, got a bag of cash and parachuted out again. They caught him this time and sent him to jail. He escaped and died in a shootout with the FBI.
Not going to debate this, but the only thing I will say is that the FBI didn't agree with this theory. "For 45 years after the hijacking, the Federal Bureau of Investigation maintained an active investigation and built an extensive case file, but ultimately did not reach any definitive conclusions. The crime remains the only unsolved case of air piracy in the history of commercial aviation. The FBI speculates Cooper did not survive his jump, for several reasons: the inclement weather on the night of the hijacking, Cooper's unsuitable clothing and lack of proper skydiving equipment, the heavily wooded area into which he jumped, his apparent lack of detailed knowledge of his landing area, and the disappearance of the remaining ransom money, suggesting it was never spent. In July 2016, the FBI officially suspended active investigation of the NORJAK (Northwest hijacking) case, although reporters, enthusiasts, professional investigators, and amateur sleuths continue to pursue numerous theories for Cooper's identity, success, and fate." Wiki DB Cooper Wiki DB Cooper copycat-hijackings ....... ....... .......
You think this will stop OP from posting about it in every thread on ClutchFans for the rest of eternity?
Wasn't that photo already debunked as it was published in a book 2 or 3 years before her disappearance? Japanese Blogger Points Out Timeline Flaw In Supposed Earhart Photo : The Two-Way : NPR 海の生命線我が南洋の姿 : 南洋群島写真帖 - NDL Digital Collections
Apparently so, but the bigger evidence for me more than that picture is the fact that the Marshall Islands produced stamps in 1987 that illustrated the whole crash sequence. Over there it's like there's no theory whatsoever that anything else happened except her crashing there.
@Jontro SONAR DON'T LIE Now they need to find James Cameron to take them underwater photos and stuff breh
My bad. Who would have thunk that an anchor would be more likely to found in the ocean versus an airplane.
