I keep forgetting he’s only 19 years old. Absurd potential.

Idk if anyone else saw this but the way he handed the ball back to LeBron after momentum changing bucket ... normal business ...

    Yeah - that was brilliant.
Hollins loved it - he didn't say anything, but he giggled.

I said no which was months ago and I stick to that. Just realized you can change the vote so this poll is trash as of right now.

Cam #7, CJ Stroud #7, lets see where this goes and as they join another #7 in Craig to etch themselves into city sports history

I'd be curious how many dunks each has on the season (more specifically since Whitmore joined the rotation). As quick and bouncy as Jalen is, he only really gets dunks when the sea parts for him. Cam is the guy who creates the dunk opportunities, and they're coming in bunches now.

I do like seeing Jalen in attack mode. He's not finishing consistently, but he's finally growing and figuring things out. Whitmore stays in attack mode.

[And sorry for the Jalen comparison in the Cam thread]

Edited to also add -- when I saw Cam coming out of high school, I was wondering if he was a Crash Wallace -- plus plus strength and power, with limited perimeter skills and an iffy shot. The quality of his shot so quickly has blown me away. As a downside comp, I was thinking about JR Smith -- unreal athleticism combined with ~40% 3P shooting. f his defensive upside pans out, he's a whole lot better than that.

Imagine if the Lakers had drafted him instead of Jalen Hood-Schifino...the Lakers probably are in the Top 6 in the West instead of fighting for a play-in spot. Cam would fit so well with that that team.

the warriors too. This kid is a ****ing stud. I must admit, i have not been this excited to be a rockets fan since the days of Hakeem. We are ****ing stocked with talent and have picks on the way.

I swear, if the rockets **** it up by trading our picks away....i don't know what i'll do.

Cam whitmore has given us hope. If he turns into all-star, we can compete with OKC one day, with the spurs......it can happen.

I think I enjoy the Rockets bench reaction as much as the dunks themselves.

By the third dunk, I think even some of the coaches were getting up from their seats LOL.
