It doesn't have to do with age or skill development. Bad possessions and bad habits are bad if you can't execute. You don't need to play exactly like Jokic to be a superstar.

You really should have possessions where Sengun gets a 1v1 in the post and he justs looks to pass for the entire possession, his instinct should always be attack, and then make the easiest pass second.

    Please!!!

Compare Alp to any other player existed, even to Latrell Sprewell, Jock Landale,Isaac Austin, Nachbar, whoever you want but not to Patrick Ewing.

Ewing is more hateful than S.Curry,

    F**k this double-faced coaching.

Almost every Rockets player can throw bricks to the rim, but if Sengun misses two throws, send him to the bench. Excellent coaching.

Sengun was playing with a %46.2 FG. The greatest number in starters. But, Sengun only played 27:30 minutes. Great coaching.

Last night Udoka didn't let Alpi play in the 4th quarter. Justification? "There is an important match tomorrow". Our franchise player cooled down due to this decision. Great coaching.

You bring Sengun, who is already feeling frustrated due to these stupid decisions, back into the game in the last seconds. Then we blame Sengun for missing one of the free throws that Sengun created himself. Why? Because Udoka never makes mistakes. He's a great coach.

Disagree. You don't surrender and give up on your best weapon, you don't reward rival's strategy, you learn how to properly put the ball on his hands and you punish. Since the moment you renounce to do it, you have lost a crucial tactitc battle.

Btw, Sengun was not having a bad game, WTF? He was being our best offensive player with 15 points and a 50% in 27 minutes. Van Vleet had a bad game. Brooks did. Jalen Green did (yes, 6 of 16).... Don't rely on your expectations to assess a player's real performance. Objectively, he was being our best offensive weapon until he was subbed.

Full court pressure strategy with 5 wings worked, hack-a-Claxton worked... the zone.... ok Ime, perfectly done, that was great on your part.
But now, with a tied game normalized again, it's the time to put your best player on the court and finish the game leaning on him.

Udoka is definitely an above average coach but he's like Mourinho. He's defense first like him, has his favourites and he's too loyal to them. Amen should've had more minutes. Fred was chucking up threes and turning the ball over. He had a terrible month.

We’re just gonna have to agree to disagree here. I very strongly believe that it has everything to do with his age and experience, and it’s something that will get better year over year. I am confident he will be indisputably better than Sabonis at both passing and scoring by the time he is 27, probably much sooner. But there will be growing pains.

I didn't like Alpi being out most of the fourth quarter--certainly not when the alternative is Jae'Sean f***ing Tate. There's playing the hot hand and there's taking your best offensive player out of a game you're down in. Not going to go crazy with it, I don't know what specifically Ime saw and maybe there was some really key thing they're working on that Sengun screwed up, but I hope this doesn't become a habit.

These were the same people wanting Bruno as a starter last year and defending Sil@ss. Never be surprised by the idiocy and lack of patience by many of our cfans.net brethen.

He will get better but I think his FT shooting will revolve around 79% I am not sure he is ever going to shoot very well.....

Shooting is fundamental to a European....and he is European.

If he is average at it, he might just stay average to above average at best.

At halftime he had 4 points 4 rebounds and 3 turnovers … we were down 20… so everything you typed was BS

Calling this game a bad one or a good one for Sengun can be tricky, yeah. I think we put Sengun in a hard spot with not going to the pick 'n roll two man game with Fred and he couldn't deliver in that tough situation. This game was a real mixed bag for Ime.

Stop asking so many questions. Just accept "he's in good company!" :D

    a) Take the number of drives
    b) Take the number of points scored on those drives

Take b) and divide it by a) ... that's the "drive points %"

    Calm down.

    I agree with this.

Should have probably put Alpi back in a few minutes earlier, but whatever.

Shame he missed that crucial FT.

While a comeback against a 10th seed EC team looks good on paper.....

It is a futile effort and will drain them for future games.......

Smart would be to be blown out and try to stay fresh for the home games.

You roll with what's hot until it stops working so I had no issue Alpi sitting when they were on the run.
My issue is how we started the first. Sengun had 2 FGAs.
He had 4 more attempts in the second qtr and 3 of those were the Tari Eason kind, put back miss put back miss on the offensive rebound. No effort to get him established.
