Add a guy like Chris Jones in FA and draft Payton Wilson in the 3rd as well as bringing back Greenard and Barnett, that would be a dominant front 7.

I wonder if DeMeco told this guy to look elsewhere given how he has said the defensive front needs to improve.

They must sign their own replacements or replacements for them. It's not found money because they have to pay for a full roster. At present, $61M represents about 15% of cap and they have to sign about 40% of a 53 man roster used to calculate the cap.

But money in you pocket has infected the talk shows too. That money has to be spread around. BTW, players would like to play here and get paid too. Guess which one is more important to them.

Rebuilding the defense is exactly the spot Caserio planned to be in after the season. He already knows who the "keepers" are and his list of free agent targets should be near done.

He and Demeco can now sculpt the defense exactly how they want it.

while I generally agree with this, waiting until someone proves themselves as a keeper before signing them to a long term deal means you may have to pay top dollar for them

    He chose to pay Howard.

I've got them figured in at having about 30 mil to spend after they re-sign the guys they want to re-sign. They can create more by letting Woods walk and Johnston. probably around 35 mil or so.

With that money sign Jones to a 5 year 125 million with 4 years 100 million guaranteed. Then go out and sign Al-Shaair 2 years 15 mil.

I don’t think KC lets Chris Jones walk. He’s like the anchor of that D. I do think the Ravens are gonna have some choices to make and Justin Madubuike would be a fantastic DT anchor for Demeco.

I've got a n off-season plan that I will put out after the bowl games, combine.

Starting with give me Swift at 6 mil over Barkley at 13 mil.

There's many years that you probably would've been happier if they took my advice. Did you forget the O'Brien years.

I guess you didn't get my attempt at humor.

But the BOB years were bad in both talent acquisition and cap management. It wouldn't have taken much to be better than those clowns.
