Another boring win

 

Don’t have time to do a deep analysis right now. I will get to it when I can.

 

Lmao FVV has 11 blocks in his last 3 games

 

Ive been saying AND Jalen just said it....THEY WANT TO PLAY FAST.

FVV coming down court passing into Swngun slows the game down. And I think thats whats been affecting Jalen the most.

We have too many players who.like to run; Jabari, Tari, Jalen, Cam and Amen. Slowing it down is not good for the team as a whole.

 

Well I checked for you. His usage rate and shot attempts are higher on wins vs losses.

83 points in the second half. WOW

 

First half was a little frustrating, second half was absolute BLISS! We took advantage of a shitty Hornets’ defense and just destroyed them. I’ve rarely seen anything like it, we must’ve shot like 70+ percent for much of the second half.

Two big scoring nights in a row from Jalen, without any three ball, basically! If he’s aggressive like he has been and his shot finds him again, we may be able to see some big games and hopefully some more wins—the team needs him to be in attack mode all the time.

And our rookies were both outstanding. Two incredibly talented players who get along and work hard (from what I’ve seen).

Rockets win big, stress levels are nonexistent, and we should be ready for the game to come

 

You gotta also consider he was benched on 4th when he was playing horrible either win or loss game. Just by eye test can easily tells you he has been horrible but great game tonight and nobody will take that away

 

if they give Jalen the fouls he deserves we would get more games like this.

 

He's had a disappointing season. No one deniedls this.

If someone doesn't like Jalen , just don't post here on games that he does well. It's better for mental health

Interesting point Jalen made in the postgame interview about playing fast. I think we really do better when playing faster, even if that comes with more turnovers.

Jalen gets easier buckets in a faster game, Alpi plays better because the defense is often not set and he always has a mismatch or can find one, our rookies are so explosive it’s almost unfair we have them both and Bari loves to shoot that transition 3. Sometimes I feel like FVV and his ultra-conservative play is hurting our transition game a lot…but other times it’s his ball security that keeps us in the game to begin with, so idk what the solution is.

I also liked seeing a lot more off-ball movement this game, but that may be because the Hornets perimeter defenders are trash and ball watch all the time. I wish we have a million more games like this. Plus better 3 point shooting, if I want all the cake

 

We will see what he does in the next few games
