The Rockets were missing key players, but Portland was playing the second night of a back-to-back. They need to win games like this.

 

.. I expect Ime to shake things up. It comes down to this .. you want to win or you want to pacify Jalen through the course of this season. It can't be both

 

Nah, they still played bad enough to lose. I would have said the same thing I did against Utah "Lucky to win."

They just have not played well consistently all month long.

I feel like offensively the team is going away from Sengun being the anchor and shifting more towards FVV being more of the offense and I don't think that's worked out well for us.

Jalen Green has been really bad as of late.

Brooks/Tari/Bari missing games hurt, those are our defenders.

Only good thing this month is that it looks like we have one in Cam and Amen looks like he has potential.

Everything else this month has just not been good and its odd since the start of the year we were playing playoff team after playoff team.

Might be time for a team meeting...

 

I’m sorry, but a lot of Jalen’s layup attempts are a complete joke, and I have to comment on it

Not at all, he was amazing. If only every night he could take 24 shots....I mean, we wouldn't have any wins, but he'd pad the hell out of his scoring stats!

Maybe we can get a late first round pick for him!

That’s a fair point and I would venture the Rockets played harder against the Celtics than they did tonight. They shouldn’t have lost tonight but let’s hold up in doing a fire sale.

no, it says that you can't take any team lightly in the NBA. Games are not won on paper and the Blazers have won 4 of their past 10 games now. They beat Indiana who beat us and nearly beat the Thunder

4 of their last 10. You stated that as if that’s supposed to be impressive. That sucks lol

and it was actually 3 of their last 12 before you tried to make it sound better with their 4th win tonight in their last 10. Which it really didn’t

 

-FVV and Dillon are transition period salary fillers
-This team has coaching issue as Udoka is not a great coach. He is late to adapt, no second plan, lots of concentration lapses, does sleep during the game-generally at the end of the 3rd.
-Guards have no clock awarenes.
-$20M+ paid back-up bigs is just waste.
-Team has no shooting player. The worst is any good shooter immediately regresses when join to Rockets. Should be checked why?

Shut Brogdon is better than VanVleet. Wish we could get him and a backup big that can rebound.

 

When we started big flexing after some dunks when we were still down it was a bad look. Reminded me of last year. Win some more games before doing little dances and flexing. They got schooled and embarrassed down the stretch.

 

We need to move people at the deadline. This team needs its priorities straight on offense and defense.

 

He's part of it. FVV 2-10 from 3 was part of it, no one playing any defense was part of it.

 

Jalen was NOT the problem tonight. Without Jalen we would’ve been blown out tonight. He made key plays on both sides of the ball.
