Y’all wanting to focus and spend more draft capital on OL are wild..
Gave up 2 firsts for Tunsil then Paid
Howard is a 1st rounder then paid
Juice is a 2nd rounder (rookie)
Patterson is a 6th that everyone was surprised by playing much better (rookie)
Shaq Mason a solid vet who played every game and was stable.

a lot is already invested in the OLine, give the ROOKIES a second year maybe? Or do y’all want to draft more rookies and then give them a year so 2 years from now??

we have bigger needs. And honestly, I think the run scheme takes a minute for them to learn and our backs weren’t really good for it (Pierce). Another year of practice and a RB like Barkley who can do this system would be insane.

this is a very strong receiver draft, go get Legette or Thomas. Then draft Cade Stover, the best DB and DL in the next 3 picks wherever they make sense, and BPA after that.

with whatever money is there after Barkley, resign Schultz and greenard. Or go for the Super Bowl and sign Chris jones and let the others walk.

Just another post which will irritate Qan.

If we're up on the clock and J J McCarthy is on the board, do we secure a backup QB we feel can win if, heaven forbid, C J goes out for a few weeks or ignore the opportunity?

Odunze much more explosive than Allen and Pittman. Reminds me more of Chase

Who would be a good late rd flyer qb with a similar skill set to THE J Stroud who could be coached up, come in and give us a fighter's chance of winning games if needed

I saw a mock draft (Walter’s football?) that had us getting Michigan Wolverine DT Kris Jenkins with our 1st and Texas A&M LB Edgerrin Cooper with our 2nd.

    I can dig it

The obvious answer to this question is McCarthy is Irish and Mills is an English name

    ;)

CJ is SO accurate that if the WR gets any separation more so then not it's going to be a completed pass. With Nico, Dell, and bringing back Schultz I would maybe draft a WR in the 4th rd and use the top two draft picks on defense and try to bring in someone like Chris Jones in FA. Need to be ALL in while they have CJ on a rookie contract.

I wouldn't be so sure about that, there's a fairly good chance the Texans look to trade up to draft a WR in the first. They have a ton of cap space to fill most of the other holes on the team and adding another top tier WR option for Stroud to go along with Tank Dell and Nico Collins would make the Texans offense just flat out unfair.

I still think DT is the most pressing need on the team followed closely by safety.

    I really want Legette.

But honestly, I think our best move might be to sign Evans. Re-sign the pertinent free agents. Draft the best safety available (Kinchens, or I'd take Cooper Dejean and play him at safety/slot corner). I'd love Sweat in the second round. I'm a huge fan of bringing local kids home, as you can tell.

If you want to build a culture, let's build it with local guys. Let them work int he community and show local kids they can do whatever they want and they can also make a difference in their community.

The rest of the draft is BPA.
