Cam Whitmore broken leg is a huge risk and can end his career at any game. His age doesn't matter.

Long Term Plan with Cam Whitmore, I don't believe that notion, it really should be year to year with Cam.

Jalen Green at Point Guard and 4 Sharp Shooting 3 Point Shooters to Open the Driving Lane for Jalen Green.

Rockets Ime Udoka never plays Small Ball like Mike D'Antoni 5 Out Offense.

would be great to substitute Fred with Lauri if possible--

    trade

    Fred
    Tate

    for

    Markannen
    Olynyk
    Sexton

salary works - don't know how many firsts Ainge demands, but I'd prefer to give the Rockets' '29/'30 picks and let's keep the Nets picks for 'star' trades or use them with Ime's scouting team player preferences----2025 Draft has a 7fter kid - which Assistant Ivey coaches in their National Team[Olympics bound]

It's hard to tell if the gap is merely playing spot minutes which if you are a rookie is going to make you have deer in the headlights moments because you just haven't developed a feel and rhythm. He just doesn't feel comfortable out there yet.

People before the season started were assured that Amen is immediately going to come in and at the very least be a superior finisher and ball handler than Green. But that obviously hasn't planned out yet. Green's handle are tighter by a bit and he can at least finish some of his ridiculous attempts and has shown an ability to have a soft touch around the rim. It isn't consistent but we've seen Green add some nice English on some of his finishes that are Kyrie like.

I mean Sengun provides the most consistent offense to the team so we are definitely not going to play less trough him.

But I would like to see a five out offense when Sengun is resting and Jalen is on the court. Spam Green Bari pnr and have at least 2 other respectable shooters with those two and I can see Green taking massive advantage of that type of spacing.

This guy actually lives in 2018, travelled to 2022 draft night and watched some highlights then went ahead immediately travelled to yesterdays game and commented on it. Hope you can safely return home.

Please let the people know about the pandemic, this way:

Nah the gap is literally years of development. Anybody who looks at Green and says "bust" then looks at Amen and says "future all star" is disingenuous or wilfully ignorant, they're not living in objective reality.

The Rockets 1995 had 1 In Hakeem 4 Out Offense Robert Horry at the PF

This offense works still, unfortunately Alperen Sengun midrange isn't Hakeem Level really good. One Legged Shot looks ridiculous by Alperen. No jumping required on his 3s looks worse.

Ime Udoka doesn't want to play Small even though it is a Small Ball Roster. 5 Out Offense isn't even in their minds.

Mike D'Antoni and Rick Adelman are the best in Experimenting Players PF move to Center.

Since Ime Udoka is pretty bad defensively without Dillon Brooks and Tari Eason.

Might as well try to play 5 Out and Try to Outscore the other Team.

    PG Amen Thompson
    SG Jalen Green
    SF Reggie Bullock, Nate Williams
    PF Cam Whitmore
    C Jabari Smith

Alperen Sengun, Fred VanVleet substitute out, both play Slow

    Thank the heavens!
This has been discussed, and that's a bad idea. Cam doesn't have the length to play the 4. Jabari doesn't have the length and girth yet to play the 5.
If Jalen doesn't fit in our plans and what we're building, then Jalen goes. Simple as that. There is alot of talent on this Rockets team that will very quickly fill his shoes and more.
Alpern as of right now is also our best player and FVV is our vet leader. So we are not benching those two.

Sengun is this team's %80 offense, Rockets may only win 1-2 matches and by chance, if he sits in any combination lineups.
Jabari and Green as total do not match Alperens skill level and courtvision on offense and creativity.
Look l like both, but Sengun is in different tier than both of these.
If Rockets find forwards that can score Alperens passes- because in every match at least 3_4 of his potential asists wasted, this team is playoff team.

Jalen Green fits in their plans, Cam Whitmore health long term is a problem.

Jalen Green getting 18 - 20 Shots is a Top Priority of Ilme Udoka Offense.

When the offense goes stale when Fred is bricking 3s and Sengun misses underneath.

Jalen Green Pick and Roll with Alperen Sengun I believe is the most Effective Play and either Jalen Green or Alperen Sengun hit a Shot or a pass to Jabari Smith open 3 will be made.

Here we go again. Take a Jalen Green thread and twist it into being about Alpi, who is utter perfection and different from everyone else. You just can't help yourself.

It's OK to discuss other players. It doesn't mean we've forgotten about Alpi. There are a dozen threads about him already. We can have a few on other players.

Not defending the guy you’re quoting, but the guy he was quoting is literally saying don’t play our best player. It’s a stupid idea

So was Michael Jordan's broken foot in his 2nd year worth the risk?

    I mean...a broken bone heals..

Talking about Cam Whitmore not Michael Jordan

Broken Foot and a Broken Leg is different.

Surgeries in 1985 Jordan and 2022 Whitmore is different.

Broken Bones need a Rod with Screws or a Plate with Screws.

Cam Whitmore is in that Category.
