It is about time us Bobcats had our own thread, and now finally with a coach that embraces a "Run and Shoot" style of offense and a QB from LSU/Auburn transfer window we have arrived. Going to Baylor and whipping up on the Baylor Bears is amazing - finally a team we Bobcats can get behind. After basically 50 years of suckitude, we may have something to cheer for. Let's hear it Bobcats. EAT EM UP CATS ! 42-31 over Baylor and number 1 highlight on ESPN's top 10 with that catch...wow!!! DD
Rice is a pretty okay team this year, but their number one QB is injured, so that really works in the Bobcats favor. I think it will be a good game.
The stadium ran out of beer on the Texas State side of the stadium. Drink 'em up, Cats! During the broadcast, they mentioned how people had told Kinne to not take the job and how Texas State was a "coach killer". All I could think about was how happy I was that Teis was ****ing gone and how happy I am that Kinne didn't listen. We all knew that with the size and location of the university, there was no reason we shouldn't at least be competitive in the Sun Belt, especially given that UTSA was able to be more successful than us almost immediately upon their inception. Happy Kinne is here. Glad Teis and Trauth are gone. Here's hoping this is the start of great things for Bobcat athletics.
