His critics say that he can't dribble, can't create shots so he will never be a star. That was never true. He just didn't know how to use his driving ability because he had been relying on his jump shot on lower level competitions.
Kind of starting to think Alpi is the guy we run the offense through and Jabari is the play finisher. Duo could be very special in a couple more years. Now we just gotta hope Amen can be the bring the ball up/initiate the offense/push it in transition guy.
Improved a lot man. He genuinely got better at multiple aspects of bb that i thought he wouldn't. Bring the f.king apology form.
Even with his seeming ups and downs the year, before these recent 3 games he had shown amazing overall improvement already tis season. The last step was putting up more points while maintaining efficiency, and he's doing that. Well on his way to being the dude we though we were getting, just needs more weight and confidence and neither can come overnight.
Ime knows he's not the guy you build around. He can't play defense and he can't make his shots why would anyone play this dude*
Unfortunately Jalen is still learning how to play basketball. Maybe in the back end of the season it will start coming together for him? 2 years of just doing whatever he wanted after a year of doing whatever he wanted.... the talent is there, but the bbIQ is in development stage still. He might need to accept being a gunner from the bench?
Wrong thread bud. Jabari is showing us a big time player. The shooting, the middy game, the defense, he's improved his body in a short time, he's got handles and I'm buying the toughness factor. He's taking that guff and returning to sender. Alvarado trying to play head games? Jabari hit him back, got the extra tech, made all the freebies and won the game. Do you think Alvarado enjoys apples?
I always thought it was super unfair when people, especially outside of our fandom, labeled Jabari as a bust for literally no reason. Last season he showed many flashes at age 19, this seasons the flashes have escalated to full-frontal success, and he’s still not old enough to legally drink in the US of A. How about that for a “bust”?
I said it some time ago. I hope Clutch was right about Jabari and wrong about Alpi. Everybody would be happy. Now it happens!
I think the politically correct term would be they are mentally challenged and intellectually insignificant
