Yeah, that's what I meant. There are some players that just have bad luck and I'm afraid Amen is one of those players. Plus DD cursed him
Ah, I was kind of missing your reasoning earlier. Now I get it, and unfortunately, you're probably right. Sorry Amen.
DD said that Amen and Cam were his fav players. The moment he said that Amen hurt his ankle again, got the plague, and Cam is still in the g-league, lol. Pray for the rockets children.
What do people see in Amen that makes him a franchise player? A point guard who can't shoot does not work out these days. Amen isn't just a below average jump shooter, he is horrifically bad and never shown any ability to hit outside jumpers.
I can’t get with this whole ripping on Amen for being injured to start his rookie season. I am hoping for an appearance on the court soon though
We're just 20- something games into the first season of his career. He's shown a fraction of the impact he'll have on the court with his defense, rebounding and elite passing. Rockets didn't draft a dud or the wrong twin. Just some unfortunate ankle injuries - and it's clear some of you have never experienced a grade 2 ankle sprain. (Hopefully they've checked into the type of shoes he wears.) Amen was probably cleared to sit with the team last game because he no longer has a fever. Could still be weak if he wasn't able to eat. Ime sai he doesn't like being away from the team. Looking forward to him coming back strong and taking some of Jalen's minutes lol.
I have....I dragged myself into a cab and to the hospital and dragged my ankle for half a mile. But it is also clear he is having the best doctors, the best sports tech, the best rehabilitation methods at his disposal.
Jabari has been awesome, especially for his age. People say the silliest things on this board, I swear.
