Cheap Tillman spending $70M on new training facility

Pretty cool idea to have the office surround the practice facility

 

From what I remember when I was looking around, most of the teams upgrading their facilities now are paying around $45-$70 million or so. That Spurs training center has a several-acre park, research centers, outdoor area for events, in addition to the stuff you said. That's not a practice facility but a practice facility plus a lot of other crap. No way "just" a training facility costs as much or more than some of the most expensive NBA stadiums.

Looks like a 20 mill facility.

 

looks nice to me. Finally, we all as a fanbase can look at this facility from across the street with no access and say "we did it!"

And was this “needed?” I’ve only seen vids from the Lifetime -size gym we normally see clips of and a few weight room clips. Is all of this extra stuff going to make any kind of a difference? I wonder if the players even care. Maybe they do. I dunno, it just seems like we spend so little time during a season practicing, why bother?
