Then there's the NFC with only 4 teams with winning records, and one of them lost to the Bears today.

 

The worst part of that is that we didn't win.

 

On a bright note, the Rockets are in 8th place, with a long time left to develop Amen and Cam to get ready to be good enough to step in and make us even better. Same with Jabari, Jalen, and Sengun. They will only get better.

 

While I do agree with that, this loss really hurts. Not only did we make Wilson look like Joe Montana, CJ, Anderson and Nico all got hurt.

 

I'd love to know if we've set a Texans record for college consecutive weeks of starters getting injured.

 

It's a weekly thing, but getting worse with the quality of players getting injured.

 

The only happiness I can feel today after watching that game is that Lawrence got 3 interceptions and they lost. They would have been better off if his sprain had been worse.

Just saw graphic that had the Bengals in the playoffs ahead of us tied at 7-6….I thought we had the tiebreaker over them because of the head to head matchup??

 

Carr had a concussion last week and played today. Hopefully CJ can do the same.

 

I thought I read something that they changed the old head to head matchup way of determining who gets the higher spot.

 

If CJ had one he will be out next week. It's always worst case scenario with the Texans especially when it comes to injuries.

 

Youre probably right. I’m just overly optimistic because the thought of Mills at qb gives me nightmares.

I'm never ok with a loss, and I get we are still growing, but we got our come uppins today.

The sad part is we got out coached, out played, and out physicaled.

But we won the most injuries stat yet again.

We might have single handedly revived Zach Wilson's free agent market.

 

The concern is Stroud has been taking shots a lot in recent weeks and possibly had a concussion last week. I love seeing Stroud play as much as anyone but I really don't think it's worth putting him out there with the team around him right now.

 

Hopefully my negativity helps jinx what I said.

 

Typical Texans playing down to their competition even with stroud I am mad at myself for thinking we would beat a team that technically we're better than love stroud and what he's doing but I'm not ready to crown him king till the Carolina Atlanta and jet games don't happen I know we're still growing but Carolina Atlanta and Jets are games we should win
