Yo, how many yards and TDs did Mahomes throw is first year?

    Lol j/k

Let's not get into something that'll ruin the mood of having a great QB ourselves. I feel much more confident in Stroud than I did with Watson.

It’s not about support for Mahomes. It’s just being objective.
Stroud isn’t a Mahomes type QB. Mahomes is elite off schedule. Stroud is more similar to Burrow or Herbert. Pocket passer that can make some plays with his legs when needed.

Stroud is a taller Drew Brees with some decent wheels. Thats who I would compare him too.

Not a bad comparison. His arm is also way stronger than Brees and, developmentally, he's light years ahead of where Brees was at this point. I think he can potentially be better than Brees in every way.

I'm a Purdue grad and watched Brees play for the Boilers and Chargers. He was very good in college, but his first 3 years on the Chargers were pathetic. Then the Chargers (for obvious reasons) decided to draft a QB that turned into Phillip Rivers. Brees' was openly ticked off and his turnaround the following season almost wasn't believable. They kept him one more year before turning it over to Rivers.

With a city as big as Houston we should be able to do a lot better than that voting for CJ. A whole lot better. Come on everybody, go vote!

Honestly, I just vote to give them the honors. I've always thought a Pro Bowl before Superbowl was the dumbest idea ever. Many of the best players skip it to prevent injury before the Superbowl anyway. It's just a money making event for the NFL and football carnival event for fans.

If you told me CJ was right behind Josh Allen in the "clutch QB" rankings, I definitely wouldn't have guessed that meant 2nd place.

Why? Allen is super clutch, it would be high no matter where it was. Allen is a legit top 2-3 QB in the league.
To be mentioned with the names CJ is being mentioned with is crazy. The kid is special

I thought they did away with the game itself and just made it into a bunch of skill exhibitions. Like the NBA 3 pt shoot out.

I actually have no idea. Did they? I quit watching it a long time ago.

I would love to see CJ do the QB accuracy competition. It’s always fun to see how different it can look from what you see on the field. I think Russ won it recently haha.

Yes Russ went up against Mac Jones and had way more arm strength and accuracy than Mac to the point that it looked like Mac shouldn’t have even been in the competition. It’s nice to have a QB in CJ that doesn’t have those limitations in arm talent.
