    @Amiga

    Looks like I missed the memo. A longtime poster up and changed their handle to Amiga and now I'm noticing. Who is it?

    Don't want to pry, but curious why the rebranding? Now, we have to say "Amiga, the poster formerly known as txtony..." just like Twitter and Prince and ATW, the poster formerly known as SJC.

    I plan to move out of Texas; at least, that's the current plan. And I'm sticking to this story :).

    Why Amiga? The Commodore Amiga was well ahead of its time. A huge fan.

    I had an Atari ST. Same processor, but slightly worse for gaming.

    I don't remember the Atari ST that much.

    (Nerding out from memory) The Amiga, I believe, has many firsts. True multitasking. Hardware co-processor (GPU, audio). MIDI (DIY interface was fun, and the audio was great). 4 stereo voices, 8-bit PCM. Hardware sprites. 3D animation. Ray tracing. GUI multi-windows OS. 4096 color palette (amazing at the time). Broadcast video (live TV). So on...
