Best 6'7 center in the league.

Alpi and Jabari: 6'7 twin towers.

Haters like @SamFisher and @larsv8 are running out of arguments. Now he isn't even as short as they claimed.

Besides their pirouetting moves and occasional scoop shots, their games are really not alike.

    Tell me Jabari's height, add 1 cm (1/3 inch), that's Alp's height.

I see two things Scola and Sengun have in common.

    1. Both have nifty footwork under the basket, lots of spinning and dancing.
    2. Both don't jump when shooting "jump" shots.

Other than that, they are totally different players.

I love Scola's never quit attitude, always playing hard even when the game is out of reach, always running the court even though he's not the fastest guy on the floor. One of my favorite Rockets.

With similarities you listed between Scola and Sengun, I can list at least 30 players. Forstarters Jokic is one of the guys don't jump when shooting...or ever. Hence, Scola, Sengun and Jokic are similar players!

Alpi is more of a Scolandry-type.

BTW, Splitter (6'11) and Alpi seem to be exactly the same height, when you see them next to each other. Scola was 6'9 on a good day.

Not that it matters at this point.

You're right. Luifa had like 1 dunk in his entire career here. Alpi averages 1+ a game.

I've been trying to figure this out this season, watching him next to other players. My guess is he is 6'10" without shoes and somewhere north of 6'11" with them. I don't think he quite hits 7' in shoes.

    Not that it really matters.

MPJ is 6’11 in shoes at the combine and Alpi is very clearly taller than him. I think he’s 7’ ish in shoes

MPJ measured 6'10.75" in shoes, 6'9.5" without. I think I'd peg Alpi as about 3/4 of an inch taller than that... we're really splitting hairs here now though :D

Sengun is 6’9” and some change without shoes imo. But nobody can say that Jabari is 6’11” bc they’re really close in height. Regardless his height, he’s a ****ing monster out there

Did you buy you ice cream every time Scola scored a scoop? That would be swell! :D

    ... and Pavlovian. :D
But how come the arena crowd weren't ever treated to a bit of ice cream?
    Missed opportunity for some brands.
