Now we have Hyder up off the practice Squad to replace Horton who moved to Reserve/NFI. If things progress with J J, he could sign to the practice Squad initially with something like, "These guys have put in the work and I'm here to back them up and help in any way I can as I work my way into playing shape."

I thought he meant coming back for the 2024 season?

As I watch Goff try to run for a first down like his feet are stuck in molasses and end up fumbling the ball, I thank god that Stroud beat the comp.

Yeah he’s a little better athlete than Goff. Probably closer to Carr/Darnold. Straight line solid. Not overly explosive or agile but functional for NFL QBs.

The people comparing him to Goff were idiots. @cmoak1982 . They didn't pay attention. The whole Stroud unathletic was dumb from the jump.

Just because someone doesn't run, doesn't mean they can't. LOL.

His first TD at OSU was like a 45 yard run.

He’s still not an upper tier athlete. He’s an average NFL QB. People like you just don’t know anything about athleticism.
    Elite QB skills.

OK. Mayo boy is an ELITE Athlete (your words) and I guess an Elite QB because of that, right? What is an upper-tier athlete? Just because he 6'4, 229lbs doesn't make and can move a little doesn't make him an ELITE Athlete. And we know Elite Athleticism doesn't make you a good QB. So, Stroud is average, but since Will Levis is an "elite athlete he is the better QB. Gotcha.

You are underestimating Stroud's athletic ability like you missed his QB skills to be a top-tier NFL QB.

Forget athletic. I haven't even seen an accurate passer or a very good receiver.

4th down pass wouldn't have counted even if he caught it. He ran his route out of bounds.

All these aggressive 4th down calls are getting ridiculous.

What are you even talking about teapot boy?

We were discussing athleticism, not QB play. Yes, Levis is a better athlete than Stroud. Stroud is more athletic than I gave him credit for, but he’s still not an upper tier athlete at QB by todays standards.
Stroud has shown elite QB skills, which is the most important aspect.

Now shut your little sensitive ass up, you’re such a little p***y.

Yet you conveniently ignored the next gen stats that showed Stroud had the 9th fastest run of any QB this year. Thats at the very least above average for a NFL QB. That’s the only quantifiable measurement we have so that’s what I’m going with while you can continue to discount his abilities.

Let it be. He has already established himself as of the worst posters in the site, legit proved he doesn’t know much about evaluating QBs.

No one ignored that at all. 19 mph is solid, but that’s assuming every QB has had a long enough stretch or run to reach speed. It’s a solid top speed but it’s about average linear speed for QBs
