RIP to those player alums, man. DJ Hayden was ****ing awesome. A real coach might have used the tragedy to motivate his players. Dana Holgorsen has no conscience about how bad he is robbing this school. No adjustments, no play calling, no life, no ideas whatsoever. And of course, no recruiting. One game is all you need to see to never want to play for this lazy prick. It is an assault on the eyeballs. Nothing can improve until the whole staff is replaced. Pez should polish up his resume as well, his ass is tainted by association.
Can't wait for the day when I can come to this thread and see an announcement that Holgerson has been fired. Until then we are going to continue to go sideways or more likely backwards. Nothing more to add other than he is just a terrible coach and needs to be replaced the sooner the better.
UH has to replace Dana, sooner the better. If this continues, the UH football program will be set back for years to come.

Please no. Gives me the creeps. I was a big Bobby Bowden fan. Fisher didn't do Bobby right, pushed him out behind the scenes. Bobby was a great person, Jimbo, not so much.
With Jimbo getting the boot it feels like whatever slim chance we had at getting rid of Dana has been snuffed out. A&M coach shopping at the same time as UH is just too much of a power vacuum to compete with. Dana has to be forced to hire an OC, immediately. There needs to be an open competition at QB next year, the transfer portal should be in play. Doug Belk needs to be shown the door. Granted, all of this feels like shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic, because no matter what we do, Dana is going to Dana and we're going to underperform in 2024 and end up cleaning house entirely. Can't believe we have to watch this garbage for a whole nother year. Ugh.

College football really is dead. NIL, free agency, transfer portal, ridiculous contracts and buyouts, for every kid like Golden who plans to stay there will be others looking to move up and out. It’s a tiered minor league system at this point. I mean I’m still going to watch it, but it’s not the same and never will be again. Not ruined, but severely damaged I think. And, yeah, I know it’s basically always been this way behind the scenes, but at least there was a veneer to hide behind. Sometimes it’s better not to see what’s on the other side of the curtain. It just feels gross.
