I lived in Florida for several summers a few years ago. The "word" was that Fisher figuratively "stabbed Bobby Bowden" in the back and then feasted on his recruiting classes. Had a rep as a "slim ball." And not all that great of a coach. The Aggies got "taken."

Nobody in Florida is smart so need to listen to them.

Jimbo won a title at LSU & FSU. Bobby Bowden didn't even know Vince Young's name. He did fine for a while at TAMU.

They grabbed a guy that accomplished stuff. Not sure they got TAKEN.

It's just money. TAMU has more. And more. And more. Money isn't real bro.

They should sign Jimbo to another extension.

Damn, Jimbo set for life. Fired and still gets $75 million. Good job, Ags.

Don't laugh. We're doing the store brand version of the same thing.

Remember when the Aggies hired Dennis Franchione from Alabama. Same result. Big name coach. Big name flop. Well good luck cause the SEC advantage is over once Texas and OU join the league.

This seems like a cash grab to me. Giving this guy 75 million dollars of university money to ****ing leave. Something seems fishy here.

It’s almost 4x higher than the biggest buyout in college history. No, this does not happen all the time.

Sorry I see what you’re saying. I wasn’t thinking of the size of the buyout…just that there was a buyout.

How much did Penn State or Baylor pay in civil lawsuits?

That was for rape/sexual assault. Not a coaches buyout.
