I actually thought BY played pretty awful last night. I don't even think it was necessarily all his teammates there.

    He was bad.

I will say one thing. The noise is loud from the outside and everyone is blaming his teammates.

Kid will lose that locker room if he doesn't start playing better.

I admit late in the college season and early offseason I wanted Bryce. Not that i thought CJ wouldn’t be good (always liked him) I thought both would be great but I was expecting Bryce to have Russ type moving ability. Once it was a done deal (late March) that Bryce was going to Carolina I was happy with Texans having to take CJ. Turns out probably best move in franchise history.

Not gonna lie...while I was watching that game yesterday, it seems the Bears defensive players kinda went easy on Bryce. Like, they were actively trying not to hit him hard even when he ran the ball. Even saw one defensive guy help Bryce up and gave him a greeting and slap on the back after Bryce ran for a first down. I laughed a little. Well, I stopped watching fully after the 1st quarter and only checked in the game here and there the rest of the way.

I also was in this group (happily wrong).. in Bryce, I saw the mental aspects. He was a great decision maker, was able to read defenses very well, and made throws at all angles due to his shorter size. I didn’t think him being small (still don’t) was going to be an issue for him in the Pros. For CJ, I’m a Buckeye fan and I’ve watched too many of our alumni come and be trash in the pros. I also thought CJ had elite accuracy, but also didn’t have to read defenses or handle pressure because of how good his team was. I’ll also admit that I fell for the S2 stuff when it seemed to coincide with why I wanted Bryce. I was sick of the Mallets, Osweilers, etc with great physical attributes but couldn’t spell QB out in the field. I wanted Bryce’s processing and diagnosing of defenses.

all in all, I didn’t realize CJ had all that as well. But he was my #2 because you can’t teach accuracy. Anyways, so happy to be wrong.

People need to stop comparing CJ and Bryce. They have different set of QB abilities and in different situations. The situation may have been muddling before season started, but now that it's clear who's the better QB. Bryce might not be as good as CJ, but give the kid a break. He's fighting for his life out there with that OL they have...yeah our OL is makeshift also but ours is playing good enough.

Our OC knows how to scheme an offense (when he's not trying to force a run down the middle), and the Panthers' coaches are bad. I think they need to let Bryce sit for a bit because he's going to get himself demolish and build bad habits with how he's playing right now.

The Panthers ol consists of good players.

Ebonkwu many wanted the Texans to pick

Zacalla third rd pick, was a good player in college.

Bozeman was a good center with the Ravens. FA signing
    .
Corbett Won a ring with the Rams. FA signing

Moron has had a better career than Howard.

The talent is there, Don't know what's wrong with me offense, but they could use a WR1, TE.

Still think Texans fans have had better reasons to March. They don’t know what true dysfunction looks like.. yet we didn’t protest.

I love their stupidity of thinking they can just demand a better team. If only other fan bases had tried such a creative approach.

One thing I hope changes going forward is the notion that we somehow know that a QB can’t be effective because he went to a particular school. We heard that about Tech…then came Mahomes. And Stroud is actively burying that nonsense for Ohio State right now.

There were Texans fans that marched in support of Deshaun Watson.
