In fairness to Bryce Young, a lot of his problems are Panthers-oriented. While not excusing the 3 INTs against the Colts, JT O'Sullivan illustrates how little he has to work with at Carolina.

Bryce Young will be fine as a starting QB if he stays healthy.

Wow, BY didn’t throw a pick there but he just did the same thing he did last week where he did throw one.

One week later and doing the same things. Red FLAG!!!!

I’m still leaning towards the conspiracy theory that CJ was helping a friend out lol

I think slowik saw how terrible the panthers were and didn’t want to open up the playbook to show upcoming opponents certain plays. Then we fell behind and it was too late our offensive rhythm was off.

This. That’s a poorly coached team. I know it’s early but I just don’t see it with Bryce. Hell I saw more flashes with rookie Davis Mills

I think against the panthers and the falcons the offense started the game playing like a team that was protecting a lead late in the game. Bunch of runs and then dump offs later in the down to get better punting situation instead of trying to pick up a first down. We should have won both games

Bobby Slowik cost us a win against the Panthers. Should be 5-3

I was very impressed with his Georgia game and if you go through more of my posts there are plenty of them going deeper into his stats and praising him all throughout the draft process. Initially I formed my opinion based off of ratings from PFF and other sites like that until I had time to watch more of his games and look at the advanced data. The reality is that CJ simply didn’t face that much pressure in college so he rarely had much practice at dealing with it, but in the Georgia game where he was consistently pressured he handled it very well.

Boy oh boy, I have never been happier to be wrong, I wanted BY so bad and was pissed we got CJ, but here we are and karma was on the Texans side. I am sure BY will be fine, that team sucks right now and I could not be happier to have CJ.................so much for me playing armchair GM o_O
