That parade looks more like a championship parade for a high school then a professional team. Didn't look like they had floats, just players in the back of pickup trucks. Lame and pathetic. Seager with his mic drop moment on Bregs I guess. Whatever.

Nice try. Bregman said those words because the Astros have had a sustained era of success where everyone outside of Astros fans roots against them. Nobody was wondering about the Rangers or taking them seriously. Congrats Rangers, you beat an Astros team that had a fluke shitty home team (while you went 2-4 at home in the postseason) and then beat an 84 win NL champion.

The fck? The rangers won the WS or something? With that parade showing, I figured they won a highschool cup or something

I always thought the Yankees were my least favorite team. This season, especially this postseason, has forced me to realize the Rangers are absolutely my least favorite team. I freakin hate everything about their pathetic franchise. You win the World Series and that’s the best parade you can come up with? Driving in a circle around a bunch of damn parking lots? Can’t even get more than 700K people to show up on a Friday? Have a “mic drop” moment that doesn’t make sense because absolutely nobody wondered what it would be like for your lame team to do anything other than continue to be the little brother to the team a few hours south? Good lord, talk about little brother syndrome.
On a related note, my mom has worked as an advertising media buyer for 25+ years now. She has several clients in the DFW area that bought spots in the WS games. She said that the ratings for the WS, in Dallas mind you, were so unbelievably low compared to what the WS does in Houston. So not even their own city rallies around them the same way a city like Houston does.

Obviously we lost and deserved to lose, but it absolutely blows that we lost to such a pathetic franchise who then went on to win the WS over an 84-win wild card team who’s from our own state.

They can move no closer than 2nd place. Cubs will always be #1 on my hate list.

I still can't believe that the Astros lost ALL four home games in the ALCS. Four. All. After being up 3 games to two.

They only had to win ONE more game, but lost both. That is so pathetic. Inexcusable. Still mad about it.

What Seager did was pretty funny. He just didn't do it as well as Bregman.

Worst thing to happen was winning the division.
