Funny because I remember arguing multiple things with Wemby:

• Rockets tried for a 14% chance at him, which I felt was the best odds for a player of his caliber in the next 2 decade... *note: 14% wasn't all or fail
• Best prospect since lebron
• Shouldn't be in the same conversation as Chet
• His 3 point % is the least of his concerns
• His defensive impact is all world while also having "dominant" offensive qualities

 

We're screwed.

 

Once we got our answer about talent, longevity is the only question left about Wemby.

I wasn't around for pre-draft Sampson but Porzingis was not the same prospect as Wemby. In fact, knicks fans BOO'D when Knicks drafted Porzongis.. which I know isn't some fool-proof predictor of success lol
